Where Mayan wisdom, Egyptian enigmas, and secrets of the Western Mystery Schools converge.

This award-winning documentary, celebrated at 13 international film festivals, takes viewers on a thrilling exploration of ancient mysteries through exclusive interviews with Initiated Maya Priestess AumRak Sapper, the late Native Maya Daykeeper Hunbatz Men, and Western scholars of the Maya.
Mystic Maya offers a rare transmission of the inner esoteric teachings of the Mayan culture, deciphering the reasons and uses for Mayan pyramids, ceremonial complexes, and their profoundly ancient timelines (Maya Daykeeper Hunbatz Men describes the oral history of the origin of Maya culture in 28,000 BCE). It challenges accepted historical narratives, revealing surprising similarities in spiritual beliefs across Mayan, Egyptian, and Masonic rites of passage.
This film stands as a vital record of sacred stories and hidden knowledge, inviting viewers on a journey of initiation into rarely shared insights. It expresses ancient truths that can still be applied today, and tells the oral history of the Maya from both a Western Historical and Indigenous perspective. Although this is film is highly appealing to the "Ancient Aliens" audience, this story is all about what lies here on earth, with no need for a hypothesis of aliens.

James O’Dea former President of the Institute of Noetic Sciences, author and activist.

“ ‘Mystic Maya, Journey of Initiation’ is a sacred offering that honors the spirit of the ancient ones. This film opens a ceremonial portal, bringing light to the sacred teachings, prophecies, and cosmology of the Maya people. It is a respectful and beautifully woven thread between the Indigenous wisdom of the Americas and the universal mysteries we all seek to remember. This journey is not only informative — it is medicine for the soul!”

Directors Statement:

What truly sets Mystic Maya apart is its unique blend of Western scholarship with direct, spiritual-lens interviews from initiated Mayan Shamans and Elders, revealing the truths and experience of their lineage and oral traditions.
I hold immense hope for Mystic Maya as it carries the invaluable mission of preserving these insights. Critically, three out of the four initiates and elders who guide us through this film have since passed, making Mystic Maya an incomparable resource to maintain the transmission of their sacred oral traditions and wisdom. Amidst growing public interest in ancient mysteries, Mystic Maya offers a vital, professionally produced counter-narrative to accepted historical views, revealing profound insights rarely shared outside inner circles of initiation.

Envisioned and mastered using 100% sacred Solar energy at 8200' in Crestone, CO, USA, this film is my heartfelt desire to share profound wisdom. Join this transformative journey, and let the secrets of the past enlighten our present.
